The microprocessor-based keyboard interface for Amiga 1200 supports PC (WIN and AT), Amiga 2000 and Amiga 4000 keyboards. PC-Key 1200 is installed in the Amiga 1200 keyboard socket.
Apart of keyboard interfacing function this item plays a role of the positioning element for holding the following busboards: Dragon 1200, Mediator PCI 1200 SX, Mediator PCI 1200 (including LT4/LT2 versions) and Zorro IV.
If you have any of the above busboards, do not insert anything between the PC-KEY 1200 interface and the busboard. The PCI busboard should lie directly on the keyboard interface. The interface height is adjusted to allow proper positioning of the busboard against the Amiga motherboard. The back brackets of PCI cards installed in slots of the installed busboard will fit perfectly in their places in the rear bay of the tower.
